Let's get back to our little discussion on Agenda 21. Educating the youth in this type of garbage is one of the ways that the UN and the toady's that follow them are trying to get this done. they feel that if they start early enough and keep at it long enough they will win the minds of these youngsters. If you were to look at what the feds mandate for our youngsters to learn you would find that the environmentalists and the Sustainable Development propaganda is in virtually in every subject. Economics is used to discourage individual initiative in the market and decrying private ownership. history is used to obscure what our founders thought and did. They attempt to convince students to work for government-approved Sustainable Development partner organizations. I could go on but I think you get the idea.

You and I are paying the bills and the government schools are shutting parents out of the educational stream and brain-washing our kids. For instance, my grandson, who will be a senior in high school this year, has already heard all about "Shareholder Councils" and the restructuring of the government. Happily his mother (my daughter) myself and most of our family have taught him better and he gets into much trouble when he debates the teachers on these type of subjects. However, most values and self worth classes today are designed to overpower parental teaching.

Getting to the stakeholder councils that I mentioned, these are especially alarming. They give any third parties a "stake" in the control over the property of neighborhoods. They promote their own ideas of Sustainable Development and marginalize local opposition. they especially attempt to demonize anyone that advocates the freedom to use and enjoy their own private property.

They usually put out a "consensus statement" or a "vision statement" and the local government passes it and then requires citizens to submit to stupid conclusions of a non-elected regional authority that is in no way accountable to voters. This is a fasciunist power grab, pure and simple. A public official, and NGO or a non-profit organization are just some of the people that may call for a stakeholder council meeting. It is very rare that community members ever the ones to ask for a meeting for the stakeholder "visioning process.

These stakeholder council meetings are run by a facilitator and he is working for the people that think they need a specific consensus for a project they are putting forward. The facilitator is not there to see that everything is recorded as stated, he is to push the project of the people that are paying him and to get the consensus they need. If he cannot get the consensus he needs he is liable to cut the meeting short and try again.

Many of these programs are to support some NGO and their crackpot idea of what needs to be done for the environment. They make up a problem and then attempt to scare the citizens of the community into going along with whatever they want to do. They have a vast stock of Sustainable Development solution on hand for any and every so-called problem. And this brings us to the ICLEI or the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives. this is where I will pick up in two weeks.
